MuleBuy QC Checklist: How to Inspect Your Order Before Shipping

Why QC Photos Matter

QC photos are your only chance to see what you are actually buying before it ships. The warehouse takes photos of your specific items and sends them to you for approval. These photos are not stock images — they are of your exact order. This is your insurance policy. If something looks wrong, you can request a replacement or refund before the item leaves China.

How to Review QC Photos

1

Compare with Retail Reference

Open a retail reference photo in one tab and your QC photos in another. Compare logo placement, color, stitching pattern, and proportions side by side.

2

Check the Details

Zoom in on stitching, logos, labels, hardware, and material texture. The flaws are usually in the small details.

3

Verify Color Under Natural Light

QC photos are taken under warehouse lighting. Ask for a natural light photo if color accuracy is critical.

4

Confirm Size and Fit

If the item includes a size tag or measurement, verify it against the factory chart. Some factories add a size tag that does not match the actual fit.

QC Priority by Category

Focus your QC attention on the most important areas for each category:

Red Flags to Watch For

These are the signs that you should request a replacement:

Warning Signs

Color that is visibly off compared to reference, stitching that is crooked or loose, hardware that looks cheap or wrong, missing or wrong labels, and material that does not match the description. If you see any of these, request a replacement immediately. Do not hope the flaw will be less noticeable in person.

Bottom Line

QC photos are your best defense against disappointment. Take the time to compare them with retail references, zoom in on details, and verify color and size. If something looks wrong, speak up before shipping. Replacing an item at the warehouse is free. Returning it after delivery is expensive and often impossible.
